OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program
Tri-County Truss's Burlington Plant was recently awared OSHA's VPP Star certification. VPP requires an exceptional level of safety awareness and precautions, health management, and employee participation in decisions that effect their jobs, far exceeding industry standards. TCT Burlington is only the third wood-processing plant in the state of Washington and the first truss plant nationwide to achieve this highest level of OSHA safety certification.
WTCA Score Achiever
The Wood Truss Council of America offers certification to truss plants that meet a variety of standards in design training, plant quality control, and customer information. TCT is ''Achiever'' certified which means that we have exceeded industry standards. We are working hard on achieving the next level of this nationally recognized program.

Where we do it
TCT-Burlington has grown from its original three county area (Skagit, Island, and Whatcom) to cover most of Washington State. Look to see our trucks from Forks to Yakima, from Okanagan to Ocean Shores. Our sister company, TCT-Longview was opened in 2007 to service southern Washington and north and central Oregon. We've barged trusses to Alaska, containerized them for Japan, and shipped by common carrier to Utah, Montana, California . . . Wherever you're building, we'll get it there.
Our History
Tri-County Truss was founded about 20 years ago in Burlington, Washington in the heart of the Skagit River Valley. Our state of the art plants are being constantly upgraded to bring the latest advantages to our customers. We offer a wide variety of options to make our trusses meet your needs. We've also developed several industry-unique products that can save you time, money, and keep your crews safer. Tri-County Truss was purchased in 2002 by Lyman Lumber, a Minnesota-based corporation. Through this association, TCT has access to unprecedented purchasing power in the volatile lumber market and to the latest technological improvements typically available only to the very largest players in the country. |
